TAMS students spread the word about reading Students from our middle school celebrated Read Across America Day in March by sharing their favorite books with elementary school students in Saco and Dayton .
Twenty-eight students from TAMS participated in the reading event , created to recognize the value of literacy , celebrate the books that inspire our children , and honor educators , parents , librarians , authors , and everyone who fosters the power of reading .
“ TAMS students love reading and enjoy sharing that passion with elementary school students ,” says TAMS Principal Tiffany ( Regan ) Robert ' 00 .
“ The best part would have to be seeing how happy the kids were because older students were reading to them and I could tell that they looked up to us ,” says TAMS student Elana Nelson .
