8TH GRADE CLASS
Eighty-seven students from Thornton Academy Middle School celebrated the end of one journey and the beginning of another at the school ' s graduation ceremony .
“ During your time at TAMS we taught you strategies to become life-long learners ,” said Principal Tiffany Robert ‘ 00 . “ The faculty and staff of Thornton Academy Middle School have prepared you for your transition to high school . We are very proud of you and all your accomplishments , and wish you all the best as you move on to high school .”

Emma Eukitis received the Carl J . Stasio award , named in honor of Thornton Academy ’ s retired headmaster of 26 years . Kirk Agreste ' 99 presented the award with Principal Robert . The award recognizes a student who exhibits a strong academic drive , participates in activities that extend beyond the classroom , and exemplifies the school ’ s pillars of Respect , Responsibility , Compassion , and Investment .
