7. Sew (1) 1” x 12 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of (1)
2 ½” x 12 ½” Fabric E strip, lengthwise, to make (1) short

8. Sew (1) 1” x 15 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of (1)
2 ½” x 15 ½” Fabric E strip, lengthwise, to make (1) long
BEB strip (Fig. 8). Repeat to make (12) long BEB strips
total.

9. Sew (4) 3 ½” Fabric D squares and (3) short BEB strips
together, alternating them, to make (1) sashing strip. Repeat
to make (4) sashing strips total.
Quilt Top Assembly
(Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)
10. Sew (4) long BEB strips, (2) Block Ones and (1) Block
Two together to make Row One. Repeat to make Row

11. Sew (4) long BEB strips, (2) Block Twos and (1) Block
One together to make Row Two.
12. Sew the (4) sashing strips and (3) rows, in numerical
order, together, alternating them, to make the quilt top.
13. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 57 ½” Fabric F strip to each side of the
quilt top. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 50 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and
to the bottom of the quilt top.
14. Sew (1) 4 ½” x 59 ½” Fabric G strip to each side of the
quilt top. Sew (1) 4 ½” x 58 ½” Fabric G strip to the top and
to the bottom of the quilt top.
15. Layer and quilt as desired.
16. Sew the (7) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric B strips together, end
to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this
long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and
press.
17. Bind as desired.
