conference call. It shall be exempt from a Quorum; however, any
recommendations that are made are subject to ratification by an
appropriate vote of a Quorum of the Teen Auxiliary membership. Without
such ratification, the decision will NOT stand. However, no official
business concerning approval of a Budget, amendment of these
Bylaws, election of officers, or removal of officers may be considered
if a Quorum is not present.
Teen Conference. Every member of the Teen Group are required to
attend at least One Regional or National event, Once every four years
during their tenure in the Teen Group

Section 3.
Representation at Regional Teen Conference
A. The Teens Group shall be represented at the Regional Teen Conference by
one (1) delegate, and one (1) alternate. The Teen President shall serve as the
Delegate, and the Teen Vice President shall serve as the Alternate. If either or
both is unable to attend, the vacancies shall be filled by election by the Teen
membership. The Teen with the largest number of votes shall serve as the
delegate.
B. Travel Expenses-Voted in the budget by Chapter.

Article VI. Quorum
The presence of one-half (1/2) of the total Teen Auxiliary membership in Good Standing
shall constitute a Quorum for conducting the business of the Teens in Teen Meetings and
Special Meetings
Article VII. Finance
A.
The Fiscal Year shall coincide with the Program Year.
B.
Travel expenses for the Teen Sponsor, Teen President, Teen VicePresident shall be provided as allotted in the Chapter’s Budget. These
expenses are exclusively for the Annual Regional Teen Conference.
Article VIII. Foundation
Each year the Teen Auxiliary is responsible for making a contribution to the National
Foundation of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Every teen is required to participate in the
elected Teen Foundation Fundraiser. A minimum of one-third (1/3) of all proceeds raised
in the name of Jack and Jill of America Foundation, Inc. must be designated for Jack and
Jill of America Foundation, Inc. The remaining balance may be kept for support of local
charities approved by the IRS.
Article IX. Annual Teen Regional Conference
There are separate rules that must be adhered to regarding the annual Regional Teen
Conference. The most current version thereof are adopted and incorporated herein by
reference
