provided that they limit their communication as follows:

Campaign emails must be sent to the entire Chapter, using the
email addresses provided on the official Membership Directory.
No response to the email may be required or requested
(informational purposes only).

One (1) campaign email per candidate is allowed. If a group of
candidates choose to team-up for a group presentation, all
participants are limited to that one (1) email for online campaign
purposes. NO PRIOR APPROVAL IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO
DISSEMINATION OF THE CAMPAIGN EMAIL.

Goal: to encourage the dissemination of valuable information to
the Chapter, but to discourage a flood of unsolicited email to our
Members, and to avoid negative or selective distributions that
may be viewed as divisive.
Social Events: Candidates may hold social events to promote their
campaigns. If candidates hold social events, the entire Chapter must be
invited to attend.
Note: Campaign strategy meetings are not considered social events with
regard to guest list requirements.
F.
All campaigning must end by midnight, April 18, 2011.
VIII. REVIEW OF THE CANDIDATES – PRE ELECTION
A.
The official slate of candidates will be presented to the Chapter at the
March Mothers’ Meeting. The Chairwoman of the Committee, the
Vice-Chairwoman or an appointee, will preside.
B.
Pre-Election Candidate Statements: Each Candidate will be allowed to
disseminate a brief (1 page 8.1x11inch MAX.) “bio/objectives” statement
with emphasis on your particular interests in the Chapter’s future.
C.
Each candidate will also be allowed to give a 2 minute (MAX) “Campaign
Speech” (Note that, if you chose to do so, Members will already have your
bio and statement emphasizing why you want to serve on the Chapter, and
why a Member should vote for you).
D.
Each candidate will then be REQUIRED to participate in a Q&A session
with the Chapter.
1.
Time Limit Goals for Q&A Time: 20m for President; 15m for
Vice President; 10 minutes each for the balance of the candidates.
THESE TIME FRAMES ARE GOALS, AND NOT SET IN
STONE. WE WILL TAKE WHATEVER TIME IS NEEDED
TO ENSURE THAT MEMBERS ARE COMFORTABLE
THAT THEY HAVE THE INFORMATION THEY NEED
TO MAKE INFORMED CHOICES.
2.
Candidates will be allowed 1 minute to respond to questions.
3.
President - 3 questions from the Committee with the balance of
