For purchases less than $100, persons authorized by the Budget
and Finance Committee and/or the Committee Chair for immediate
purchase and delivery can make the purchase. When this is done,
receipts/invoice copies are to be turned in to the Treasurer.
Any Member that receives goods on behalf of the Chapter is obligated
to ensure that all conditions and specifications of the relevant contract
or order have been satisfactorily fulfilled (up to and including the
obligation to inventory items received against the relevant contract
vs. packing slip counts etc.)
Any discrepancy in the contract and what is delivered shall be
addressed immediately with the company responsible for the
shipment and/or delivery.
In all cases wherein a delivery is received, the committee Chair, the
Chapter President, or the Treasurer should be notified of the
delivery status - immediately.
If the receiving Member discovers any discrepancy or has delivery
concerns, the Member shall notify the committee Chair, the Chapter
President or the Treasurer within 48 hours of when the Member
discovers the discrepancy. Such notice may be provided verbally, but
in all cases a written summary of concerns and how the concern was
addressed (phone calls made, to whom, at what contact number, at
