SBN partners with other youth media networks
around the world and our friends at Radijojo in
Germany are delivering excellent initiatives for
creating sustainable communities across the
globe!
‘Something small can make a big difference!’
Anvna Lindh primary students welcomed a
very special guest: Angel from Tanzania in
Africa - Angel is the granddaughter of famous chimpanzee researcher and UN messenger of peace, Dr Jane Goodall. Jane also
initiated the youth program Roots & Shoots.
The German students spent one day with
Angel on an organic farm in Berlin and learnt
about Roots & Shoots, the work of Angel’s
grandmother and all the little things even
children can do to make the earth a better
place. Listen to the podcast here.
‘There is enough food in the world - why do
so many people starve then?’
Together with their partners from AFRC India and Peace Gong, Anna Lindh primary
students exchanged ideas and informations
about ‘sustainable agriculture’. They also
talked to an expert: Alashiya Gordes from
FAO – the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations. They discussed
with Alashiya about the work of the FAO,
