Having stumbled into the multimedia tent at the Big Chill back in 2005 the nonsuchdjs witnessed one of the most spellbinding musical performances ever , changing their perceptions of music , musical structure and pretty much everything else relating to performance as they knew it . They ’ ve since seen Efterklang live more times than they can count , from small under-supported gigs at Norwich Arts Centre to Britten Sinfonia backed performances at the Barbican in London .
The Ghost of Piramida was released to critical acclaim in 2012 and is directed by Andreas Koefeod . The film is based on the album Piramida , the album itself being based around field recordings made on a visit to Piramida a deserted mining town in the arctic circle . The album received critical reviews . There will be a free after-party across the road at The Swan with the nonsuchdjs on the decks .
