Set in Stone the Future of a Renowned and Historic Garden Cemetery
A planned gift from your estate qualifies you as a member of the Friends of Mount Auburn Cemetery ’ s Oak Circle — a group of forward-thinking leaders who are dedicated to the Cemetery ’ s vision . As a member of the Oak Circle , you will receive invitations to exclusive receptions , recognition in the Annual Report , and more . Your gift can empower Mount Auburn to redefine what a cemetery can be : an unparalleled place of respite and natural beauty in the Boston area addressing evolving environmental and sustainability needs . A bequest is a meaningful and potentially transformative demonstration of commitment to this exceptional landmark , and one that costs you nothing in your lifetime . By specifying in your bequest language , gifts from your estate can be designated to support any specific element of the Cemetery ’ s scope , including horticultural efforts , historical collections , monument preservation , or arts and public programming . Or you can designate your gift as unrestricted , enabling Mount Auburn to direct it to those areas most in need of support .
