As a competitive athlete why did you choose the TFW System? I chose the TFW system to excel my performance to the highest level. TFW is a proven system that has been successful for some of the top competitive athletes in Mixed Martial arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Grappling. These are the disciplines that I am currently preparing myself for and I want to be at the top of my game. How does this system differ from your previous training? Before, I used a general weight-training program with road work and interval cardio sessions in between. This was good, but now the performance applications and training methodology has evolved immensely. My Coach Peter Assentoft, who is a TFW level 1 trainer under Martin Rooney, has created an amazing TFW program that pushes me and motivates me in every session. He has also created a nutritional program that helps me add muscle mass without adding additional fat to my body. With the combination of Strength and Conditioning, along with the HURRICANE method developed by Mr. Rooney, this has begun to take my level and intensity to another plateau. What are some of the results you have seen from this training? I have been training with GRUNT performance for 6 weeks now and I have noticed a substantial amount of gains. I am preparing to compete in the upcoming 2013 World Brazilian Jiu Jitsu championships in Los Angeles in October.
