our entire team at Shadow Wood
CC is excited for our fall season
and the upcoming 2014 season of fun.
We are pleased to announce member
usage of our newly “Renovated”
clubhouse is up over 40% from years
past. 2013 was just the tip of the
iceberg when it comes to member
usage. We are planning for even more
participation and usage in 2014. We
are confident we have the correct
team of employees in place to provide
an extremely high level of service to
our members during these elevated
volume times.
We have a full calendar of events
scheduled for your enjoyment.
The Board and the staff would like
to thank all of the members who
volunteered their time and expertise
over the last year to participate in the
Club’s various committees. We look
forward to continued future success
at the committee level.
As you walk around the club, you
will see many changes to the facilities,
both physically to our clubhouses,
landscaping, golf courses and tennis
facilities and operationally with some
new faces within your management
team.
As you read this article, I will
have been at the club for little over
5 months as your new GM/COO. I
have gotten to know and enjoy our
year round members and I am looking
forward to meeting and building long
term relationships with our seasonal
members.
We have a new CFO in Soren
Spiers. Soren brings over 16 years of
club experience to SWCC. In his first
four months at the club, he and our
accounting team have streamlined the
operation and improved our members
ability to understand and efficiently
utilize the club’s website as it relates
to member accounts and billing.
We have a new Director of Golf in
Andy Scrivner. Andy brings new ideas
to the operation and looks forward to
enhancing the overall golf experience
at the club. Tournament operations,
teaching and merchandising are a few
of Andy’s strengths. We are pleased to
announce that as of November, 2013
both the Brooks and the Preserve
