This   temple   is   situated   in   Belur,   Karnataka.   It   was   built   on   the   banks   of   river,   Yagachi.   It   was  
constructed   some   time   between   10th   and   11th   centuries   by   the   Hoysala   Empire.   Dedicated   to  
Lord   Vishnu,   this   is   a   soapstone   temple.   Chennakesava   is   Lord   Vishnu’s   form.
