60 MILLION SURVIVORS RISING is a national movement and day of action on SEPTEMBER 26 TH, 2026 calling for justice, accountability, healing, and transformation for survivors of sexual violence and abuse. The campaign takes its name from the estimated 60 million women in the United States who have experienced physical or sexual violence, while also recognizing the countless survivors of all genders who have experienced sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, trafficking, intimate partner violence, institutional abuse, and other forms of gender-based violence. ON OR AROUND SEPTEMBER 26 TH, 2026, survivors, advocates, artists, educators, faith leaders, organizations, and community members across the country will come together through locally organized SURVIVORS RISINGS that demand justice, accountability, healing, and transformation.
* September 26 is our national day of action, but we encourage communities to organize ON OR AROUND SEPTEMBER 26, choosing a date and time that best meets the needs, capacity, and circumstances of your community. For example, the NYC 60 Million Survivors Rising will take place on Sept. 25th
