Creating a Culture
of Innovation A Winning Mind Set
to Stay Curious Commercial Acumen
and Thinking Personal Impact &
Leadership Presence
How do you start innovating and
go on innovating year after year,
disrupting customers, markets and
business models? It is our inner game – our mindset –
that controls our outer game. On this high-impact course,
participants (in small groups) run
their own businesses (through
a simulation exercise), and then
review the reality of some of their
strategic decision-making, with
relevance to all stakeholders! What behavioural traits make
a great leader? What are the
physical and vocal traits of ‘being
a leader’. Participants will also be
asked to come prepared to deliver
two presentations, one with and
one without PowerPoint.
This 2 day workshop based
learning experience and practical
application uses a number of
“Business Simulations” and
takes participants through the
key “Finance For Non-Financial
Managers” type knowledge
needed to make the best
commercial decisions. Throughout the course we
highlight that ‘presentation’ is
being used as a vehicle to show
how leaders express themselves.
We will also explore the mental
state of someone who leads
from the front, who isn’t afraid of
being seen and heard, or being
inspirational.
To remain agile and keep leading
at the sharp edge, a culture of
innovation must be bred into the
DNA across your organisation.
It requires brave leadership, a
different attitude towards risk and
failure, and freeing people up to do
what they are already best at. This
workshop will give you practical
steps you can take straight away to
develop an innovation culture.

However, neuroscience has proven
that, given the right tools, even
the ingrained dark-cloud thinkers
in your office (you know the ones)
can change the way they think and
set themselves up to win. Mental
resilience and a winning mindset go
a long way to getting the job done.
In this workshop, we will show you
tactical ways to take control of your
thinking and master your inner game.
