Work through the induction materials on Connect Attend Stronger Together
Use Connect to keep up to date with what is going on and what is new
Attend business update / staff communication meetings – or view the slides on Connect if you can ’ t attend
Read the Specsavers magazine
Visit a store as a customer Experience a day in a store
Check your objectives align with your team ’ s and wider business objectives
Become an ambassador for Specsavers , promoting the brand in your life outside of work
Chat with the charity team or your manager to find out how to get involved
Read Retail Week , The Optician or other trade press
Listen to the recording of trading calls
Spend some time in other related business functions to broaden your knowledge
Support a store in launching a new brand or a marketing campaign

Discuss with your manager and your team the current and future business strategy and the plans in place to achieve it
Attend the Change Management programme to support you in embracing and adapting to change
