The one-day workshop is jammed packed and
centres on a number of themes:
Hair Care
To ensure that each lady is skilled in looking after her own hair according to the latest fashion trends,
Gary Rom Hair Salon and his team train participants in the latest techniques.
Skin Care
Nimue presents an expert course on every aspect of your skin. This includes the various treatments for
different skin types and textures and also focusses on the protection and care of your skin for a
younger looking skin.
Makeup
Smashbox Cosmetics presents a participation course where different types of cosmetics for every
skin type will be evaluated through practical training. Participants are trained to apply cosmetics
creatively in order to emphasise the best features of their skin and profile during the day as well as for
the evening.
Nutrition & Fitness
Every young lady wishes to feel comfortable and attractive in her own body. USN, one of South Afri
Africa’s foremost sport and health product manufactures, presents information about healthy nutrition
and dietary discipline to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Wardrobe & Styling
Werner Wessels, official stylist for Miss SA Melinda Bam, and alumni of the London International School
of Fashion, also assist the ladies in finding their own personal style.
Social Media Skills
Cell-C is one of South Africa’s top Service Providers. Their team of experts has the latest tips on social
network skills such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. They also showcase how to use
these platforms in a positive and effective manner. Social network etiquette is an important modern
day skill to master.
Etiquette & Public Speaking
In today’s fast paced, instant and demanding world, a powerful image and etiquette is more essential than ever before. One of the keys to command a powerful presence is to communicate effectively through your body language. With the right body language in play, people will start listening to
not only WHAT, but HOW you say something. It is the perfect combination to demand attention,
through effortless confidence with a few tricks up your sleeve.
Feminine health & hygiene
Being comfortable in your own body is sometimes a foreign concept, especially if you don’t understand half the things that are taking place in your body. Dr Elna Rudolph has a Master’s Degree in
Sexual Health from the University of Sydney, is the columnist for Women’s Health, spokesperson for
Femina, and she creates a friendly and professional environment to discuss the things often swept
under the carpet.
The female mind-set
“You don’t become what you want, you become what you believe” – Oprah Winfrey. One of the
most important aspects of the workshop is touching on self-concept, confidence & self-esteem. Your
thoughts about yourself, determines who you become, and those thoughts often leave us feeling
‘not good enough’.
Womentality is the vehicle that takes you on a journey to start loving yourself, freckles, dimples, bum
and all!
