Learning
Experiences:
The
lesson
begins
with
half
an
hour
allotted
to
allowing
the
students
to
finish
the
creation
and
description
of
their
super
heroes.
After
this,
the
students
will
be
given
an
introduction
to
simple
narrative
structure
(orientation,
complication,
resolution).
The
students
will
then
be
given
an
explanation
on
storyboarding.
An
example
story
board
for
their
comic
(which
can
be
found
on
the
wiki)
can
be
shown
(if
extra
clarification
is
needed).
This
is
in
preparation
for
lesson
four.
The
students
then
need
to
create
a
rough
narrative
structure
for
their
comic
(that
they
will
use
in
the
next
lesson
with
their
storyboards).
The
students
are
required
to
work
in
their
pairs
for
this.

Preparation:
• For
this
lesson,
it
is
preferable
that
the
story
boarding
example
and
template
is
easily
accessible
in
order
for
the
students
to
be
able
to
see
what
they
need
to
fill
in
during
the
next
lesson.
The
story
board
templates
do
not
need
to
be
printed
until
the
following
lesson.
Materials:
• Colouring
pens
and
pencils
will
be
required
for
use
with
the
design
of
their
superheroes.
