EXACTLY! Initially, children don't know any better. Its human nature that they would want to reproduce.
Honestly Lita, what do children know about falling in love and getting married as little as five years old? People started to develope their hormones- which include the need to reproduce- at 12 years old on average. That affection that children feel is them wanting to show their gratitude for all that their parents had done for them. Its not like a child has the money to buy them presents. All they could do is give hugs and kisses and make those creative little cards here and there. And I personally do not think that either of us felt the need to kill our mother.”

Wrong. Freud used a mythology as evidence to defend his irrational claim. He had no further evidence and his claim was pinning both men and women to this theory. The Oedipus Theory was a theory that was disproven years ago!
