Lakeville Art Festival
in Lakeville year round
Pinky Swear MessFest – This annual event will
be held Saturday, June 22, at the MN Pro Paintball
course, 22554 Texas Ave., Lakeville. The event in-
cludes a youth and family slopstacle course event
with 1- and 2-mile options. There were 10 slopstacles
over the course of 2 miles. Participants and volun-

Lakeville Art Festival – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday,
Sept. 21, and Sunday, Sept. 22, on the Lakeville Area
Arts Center grounds. Juried art show, community art
project, food, music, activities, adult beverages and

Lakeville Holiday Lighting Ceremony – The
Downtown Lakeville Business Association will host
the event Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Pioneer Park Plaza at 6

Small Business Saturday – Nov. 22, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.,
a special day of shopping to support our local busi-
nesses with many in-store specials and activities.

Holiday on Main – Downtown Lakeville, Satur-
day, Dec. 7, 9 a.m.- 2 p.m., Santa, Mrs. Claus, face-
painters, live reindeer, dance and music, trolley rides,

Lakeville Landscape and Home Improvement
and Consumer Showcase – Held in mid-March at
Lakeville North High School 9 a.m.-3 p.m. No charge

Area events
Farmington Dew Days – June 12-16. The city’s
annual summer celebration includes music, food,
bed races, a parade, activities and entertainment for

Apple Valley Freedom Days – Series of events in
days prior to and on July 4. Freedom Days Parade
1 p.m. July 4 follows route from Pennock Avenue at
Fireside Drive north to 145th Street west to Hayes
Road north to Apple Valley High School. The event
also includes Dancin’ ’n’ Cruisin’ classic car show
