Minnetrista is growing community
With a number of developments popping up in town, Minnetrista’ s populations continue it’ s growth trend of recent years. The influx of residents is also making infrastructure a priority for the city, as water treatment plants and water tower projects are poised to help handle the needs of Minnetrista’ s growing population.
The natural beauty of Minnetrista is a main draw for new developers and visitors alike, with a balance of rolling hills, old growth forests and shoreline on Lake Minnetonka
Minnetrista encompasses 30.8 square miles, including 26.1 square miles of land and 4.7 square miles of water. The population of Minnetrista is around 8,600, according to latest statistics.
Families from the area are drawn to the city’ s annual Trista Day celebration, held every year since 2001. Highlighting safety resources, the event is held on a Saturday in May.
The City of Minnetrista has won multiple Comprehensive Annual Financial Report awards in recognition of excellence in financial reporting by the GFOA.
Minnetrista City Hall is located at 7701 County Road 110 West, Minnetrista, MN 55364. Office hours are 8 a. m.- 4:30 p. m., Monday through Friday. The city administrator of Minnetrista is Jasper Kruggel. City Council meetings take place at 7 p. m. on every first and third Monday.
