RECIPE FROM THE CHEF Recipe from the Chef It’s avocado season in Florida and there are plenty around! This is a great, easy ceviche dish utilizing this awesome fruit that is abundant this time of year. I like to serve it with warm pita bread (or any kind of flatbread) as a side dish or just as an appetizer. Florida Avocado Ceviche Ingredients Directions • 2 Cups Diced Florida Avocado • 1 Cup Fresh Lime Juice • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil • 1 Small Green Pepper Small Dice • 1 Small Red Pepper Small Dice • 1 Red Onion Small Dice • 1 Cucumbers Peeled Seeded Small Dice • 2 Ripe Tomatoes Small Dice • 1 Cup Fresh Cilantro Chopped • 1 Tbsp. Ground Cumin • Salt & Pepper to taste • Warm Pita Chips or Flatbread Whisk the olive oil into the lime juice and add the remaining ingredients.
