TARGET STUDENT LOGIC MODEL :
The below process model provides an overall summary of how the wide-ranging interventions provided and funded by SUN , combine towards evaluation ( formative and impact ) of the programme . All interventions link directly with the Progression Framework which supports a sustained and progressive outreach offer and ensures all activity links with the process model and overarching theory of change .
NB : Level 4 qualification include undergraduate study , HND , HTQ , HNC , Level 4 + Apprenticeships Level 3 qualifications include A Levels , T Levels , BTEC and Level 3 Apprenticeships Definition of sustained and progressive outreach for the SUN Programme is one intensive activity a year and / or two light-touch intensity activities as defined by the SUN intensity matrix

1a . Increase in students ’ ambition to progress to a Level 4 qualification
2a . Increase in the number of HE-ready students applying to L4 qualifications
3a . A target or strategic outreach student has access to a SUN Progression Mentor with a target of 20 % engaged with one intervention and 5 % of students engaged with two or more interventions 4a . A target of 20 % of students from the Uni Connect targeted outreach programme take part in a sustained and progressive outreach programme within an academic year 5a . Students ’ report feeling confident of how and where to access information and support about level 4 study
6a . Increase in students ’ understanding and knowledge of options and pathways available to them for level 3 and level 4 study .
