Fun With Numbers

Learn basic number concepts and have fun at the same
time. Using manipulatives and games in a structured
learning environment, your child will feel more confident
and become a whiz at number facts.

Building Mathematical Minds

It’s important to be challenged, have fun and feel
successful in mathematics, especially during the early
years of developing the mathematical mind. Come and
explore patterns, geometry, statistics, measurement,
data and many types of numbers. We’ll share our
problem-solving strategies and address any
misconceptions, while having a great time.
Grades 4 – 6 Period 1

Algebra For Credit

This class will use Sandia Prep’s Algebra textbook as well
as online content and has been approved by Sandia Prep’s
Mathematics Chair and can be taken for credit by Sandia
Prep students. To earn credit, a student can miss no more
than one day of class and must take the final exam. Any
credit that might be accepted by another school is a
matter for that school’s discretion.
This is a 6-week class.

Prep for Geometry

This course will cover the essentials of geometry.
The course topics are not limited to, but will include:
reasoning and proof, parallel and perpendicular lines,
congruent triangles, relationships with triangles,
similarity, right triangles and trigonometry, quadrilaterals,
properties of transformations, properties of circles,
measuring length, area, surface area and volume of solids.
This is a 6-week class.

Prep for Algebra

Would you like to get a head start on next year’s Algebra
class or a fun refresher course? Come and fine-tune your
skills or just begin the algebraic adventure. Explore linear
and nonlinear worlds through experience and inquiry.

equations can help solve real-world problems.
This is a 6-week class.

This class is especially for students seeking to boost or
refresh their knowledge of PreAlgebra, Algebra, Algebra 2
and Geometry. It is designed to help improve a student’s
math skills through the use of a tutor.
