Set up a blog for yourself and your friends and learn how to use the basics of Dreamweaver, an advanced website creation program. Students learn a variety of current applications, and how to apply the attributes of each in complex graphic design and multimedia projects. In addition, each student will create a series of Flash and Gif animations for Web and multimedia presentations. Software used to include: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Flash, Illustrator, and InDesign. Students will develop their own short projects and use state-of-the-art equipment available only to SummerPrep students! Grades 4 – 8 Periods 3 AND 4 Two – period class Session One or Two Tuition $240 Create some amazing graphics for use in print or on the Web. This class will show you some of the basics of creating graphics used in all kinds of media. Students will use Photoshop and Illustrator as their primary tools to create remarkable graphics and artwork. 15 student limit Grades 3 – 5 Period 1 Grades 6 – 9 Period 2 Session One or Two Tuition $120 Advanced Digital Filmmaking Tony Schoepke Sandia Prep Teacher This one-week intensive course will instruct students on the fundamentals of filmmaking. Students will learn how to properly use camera, lighting, and sound equipment, set up a film shoot, and edit their final movies using high end software. In addition, students will learn the basics of script writing and building detailed shot lists. Students will create 2 to 3 short movies and take them home on a DVD which they build from scratch. If time permits, students will use professional software to create special titles and effects for their movies.
