Sports Camps ALL SPORTS Does your young athlete love sports, any and all sports? In this on-campus morning program, campers will enjoy an action-packed week of touch football, soccer, street hockey, dodgeball, and other favorites. Each day will have sessions in two or more different sports with an emphasis on sportsmanship and teamwork. Fundamentals will be reviewed and reinforced each day during game time, followed by prizes, popsicles, and the popular downhill water slide on the hottest days! Please bring a healthy snack and water bottle each day. Coaches: Grades: Date/Time: Cost: Patrick Tucker and E.J. Watkins, Steward faculty 2 – 8 (Players will be grouped according to age, size, and ability.) June 10 – 14, July 8 – 12; 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Cost: $185 ALL SPORTS K&L This full-day sports camp will take place at K&L Sports in nearby Montpelier with transportation provided to and from Steward each day. K&L Sports promotes sportsmanship and camaraderie while increasing athletic skill level, using a 6-to-1 student-to-pro ratio. Each week, the activities include tennis, basketball, baseball, beach volleyball, horseshoes, swimming, football, soccer, wiffle ball, dodgeball, kickball, frisbee, hiking, and other field and team games. This full-day camp includes a K&L Sports t-shirt, Friday pizza party, and lots of daily prizes. Coach Bruce Secrest and his varsity players will give each camper individualized attention and drills for continued improvement at home. The daily routine will include work on throwing, fielding, and hitting, followed by the opportunity to apply new and improved skills in the daily game.
