Cox Communications Middle Georgia volunteers helped provide another home for a family in need .
As the presenting sponsor of the Macon Area Habitat for Humanity ’ s 2022 Women Build Series , Cox Communications Middle Georgia continues to help ensure those in need have a safe place to call home , supporting our 34 by 34 good health goal . At the most recent build , 23 volunteers helped build and dedicate a home for a single mother with four children .

Individuals and families transitioning out of crisis at City of Refuge in Atlanta ’ s Westside now have a warmer and more welcoming environment for receiving help with food , housing and emergency healthcare , and developing employment skills . Nearly 30 Team Cox volunteers touched up paint , picked up trash , landscaped and planted new native species to beautify City of Refuge .

Atlanta Team Cox volunteers supported the Sandy Springs Education Force ( SSEF ) through our 34 by 34 employment skills and access to education pathways . Employees assembled 250 STEAM kits for SSEF students , and staffed an educational booth highlighting our expertise in human-centered design at a STEAM Exhibit & Showcase with over 100 students . SSEF designs and implements free supplemental programs to engage , support and encourage economically disadvantaged public school students to excel academically , finish high school and continue to a vocation or a college .
