for the North Dakota Game and Fish Department for 20 years and has also served two terms as president of the North Dakota Hunter Educator’s Association. Judge Narum is an active member of the James River Sportsman's Club, as well as a member of the Rutland Sportsman's Club where he teaches trap shooting to area youth at the annual Youth Day event. He is a 4-H volunteer for archery, shooting sports, and outdoor survival skills training, and volunteers at area schools to educate youth on the law and jury system and conducts mock jury trials with students from around the judicial district. Judge Narum is also a volunteer youth wrestling coach. He has served three terms as president of the LaMoure Lions Club and has been honored as Lion of the Year. Judge Narum served as a volunteer fireman for 11 years, and also serves on the LaMoure Benedictine Living Communities Board of Directors, Rosewood Court Assisted Living Community Board of Directors, St. Rose Care Center Board of Directors, and LaMoure Community Development Board of Directors. Tonya Duffy was re-elected in the Southeast District, and Deb Hoffarth was re-elected in the North Central District. Brady Pelton was elected by the Young Lawyer Section to serve as the Young Lawyer Section Representative. The Board of Governors appointed Rob Manly to the open secretary/treasurer position, and SBAND President Carrie Francis appointed Paul Myerchin to the opening in the South Central District as a result of Judge Doug Bahr moving into the position of president-elect.
