GT: Social and Emotional Health … Polishing the Diamond
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Join us as we transform a diamond in the rough into the exquisite brilliant of
commerce. We will work through the common challenges our gifted
diamonds face such as diverse interests and abilities, high energy and
anxiety, perfectionism, oversensitivities, doubt, abstract intuitions, and self -
control.
NOTES:
Prior to the class you will need to complete products that will require three
hours of your time. These will be posted on the Gifted and Talented
Department page after June 4th. Products will be due via email
([email protected]) to the presenter by July 10th. Email confirmation will
be sent indicating that your products have been received. You may not
attend on August 1st if your products are not received by July 10th. New
hires (after July 1st) will bring completed products to the class. YOU MUST
COMPLETE BOTH THE PRODUCTS AND CLASS TIME TO RECEIVE CREDIT. NO
PARTIAL CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN.
Go to www.aledo.k12.tx.us, click Departments, click Educational Services,
click Gifted and Talented, under the “Files” section locate Staff Development,
and click on the session.
