Cross-border in a nutshell
The project brought together research from two universities, an applied science university, and a research institute. Our shared focus on applied research and our distinct areas of expertise were central to the project’ s success. Cross-border collaboration was essential to achieving the project’ s transdisciplinary goal.
The research approach was grounded in case studies, some of which clearly crossed our national borders. All activities were collaborative across expertise boundaries, involving knowledge transfer, experience sharing, and mutual support for each other’ s case studies.
