4. Pre-book a special meal
If your airline offers a meal service, and you have a specific meal preference or dietary requirement, be sure to pre-order at least 48 hours prior to departure. If not, walk with your own meal of choice to eat on board.
5. Pack the essentials
One of the little luxuries in First Class is the amenity kit given to guests on board. Keep your kit-envy at bay by creating your own with the following items:
- Eye Mask
- Skin Moisturizer
- Headphones
- Toothbrush/ Toothpaste
- Flight Socks
- Wet wipes
9. Hire a Travel Specialist
They may not be able to pack your suitcase and carry-on, but they can certainly take a lot of the guesswork out of which airline to choose, which fare is best and which ones offer complimentary meals and bags. They save you a lot of time and money. Depending on the level of service they offer, they may even check you in for your flight and arrange your arrival and departure airport transfers.
Traveling on a budget doesn’t mean you have to settle for an unpleasant or uncomfortable journey. Use these tips on your next flight, and enjoy your personal comforts. You may just find yourself at the envy of the other passengers around you!
Happy travels!
