The Argentine Red Cross will prioritize in Anticipation to River Floods

that was mainly developed remotely, the Argentine Red Cross finalized its Feasibility Study in a participatory manner, including all areas and managements of the National Society, as well as key actors such as the National Meteorological Service (SMN), the National Water Institute (INA), and other strategic institutions of the National System of Integrated Risk Management
(SINAGIR). Based on historical impact and affectation, River Floods was identified as a priority.
The Feasibility Study focuses on this hazard, as it represents the hydrometeorological risk with more interventions attended in recent years by the Argentine Red Cross.
Pablo Bruno, national director of risk management of the Argentine Red Cross, commented that this document establishes the basis to advance in the 2022 challenges and to work on the corresponding Early Action Plan.
