Here are some tips that I would
give to help someone who wants
to adopt an eco-friendly lifestyle.
1. Buy directly from a farmer. It will
cost you way less. Tap into your
network; someone in your network
Does the eco concept transcend
into other areas of your life?
Bambusa is an extension of me. I
don’t eat out a lot. In fact, I rarely
cook meat and opt for healthier
eating. I’ll go to a farmer’s market to
buy fresh produce that I’ll cook with
seafood options from Rainforest
Seafoods.
I also stay hydrated and try to
exercise weekly. Hiking through
forests is my thing! It helps that I
have a group of like-minded friends
who are always ready to trek 20km
may just know a farmer in the
country.
2. Use a mason jar instead of a
plastic bag to keep food such as
rice, sugar and flour long and
fresh.
3. Carry your water with you in a
reusable stainless steel bottle.
4. Get a Bambusa straw! They last
for at least a year if well taken care
of. You’re replacing over 360
plastic straws with each Bambusa
straw you use.
5. Change is never easy. Find what
works for you.
or do a 5/10km marathon.
