Here’s how to keep enjoying breakfast every morning: 1. Go easy on yourself. You’re probably used to breakfast being a luxury so don’t be discouraged if you still miss breakfast some days. 2. Create a schedule for your meal prepping. Organization goes a long way with getting all your breakfast meals for the week ready. Think about when you will meal prep, think about variety so you don’t get bored and make a note of your busiest mornings. 3. Dedicate easier to eat, minimum morning prep meals to those days. Do your research. Look up recipes, read articles (you’re actually doing these two right now so go you!) and experiment a bit with new foods or breakfast options. Who knows, maybe you’ll become one of those people who prepare all their meals in advance. 4. Make sure that whatever you choose to make will keep you satisfied. If you don’t feel full after breakfast you may just start to think what’s the point? ‘Enough food’ is totally subjective; you may be completely satisfied with a bowl of porridge for breakfast while I may need a hardy farmer’s breakfast to keep me until lunch. 5. Don’t give up the food you love and are most comfortable with. You’ll only be turned o if you feel like you’re forcing yourself to eat something you don’t actually want to. If your favourite breakfast meals are not their best when they are pre-prepped, don’t pre-prep them. Remember, this isn’t for everyone. You may simply have to set aside time for preparing breakfast in the mornings. Seriously, It Really Isn’t Hard! So I have passed on what I practice and know about ‘breakfast in advance’ to you. No more running out of the house without a decent meal and suering through work until lunch. Follow my advice and in no time you’ll be meal prepping breakfast like a pro and telling your friends that “seriously, it really isn’t hard!”. Issue 2: October 2019 2018 3 : January 12 10
