Lane Centering Function
( 2) If the system still does not detect any steering operation despite continuing the alert in stage-( 1), it determines that the driver is incapacitated. The system slows down and stops the vehicle and plays an alert sound and displays a warning screen.
This stage operates as follows.
• Deceleration
• Haptic braking

The system can keep the vehicle in the lane.
• Operate the steering wheel.
• Operate the steering wheel forcefully.*
• Press one of the following switches:
( CRUISE) switch,( Lane Centering) switch

1 beep and 1 long beep( repeated)
The system can no longer keep the vehicle in the lane.

1 short beep and 1 long beep( repeated)
*: If the driver’ s seatbelt is unfastened, or the driver is looking away from the road( models with Driver Monitoring System).
