How do I put myself
forward?
What is a Returning
Officer?
If you are interested in taking
up this exciting opportunity
you will need to self–
nominate, which basically
means that you put yourself
forward to be an Ayrshire
College Student Association
Student President or Vice
President.
The Returning Officer is
someone appointed by
the Student Association to
ensure that the elections
are conducted properly and
fairly. The Returning Officer
can appoint deputies to
help out with the running
of the elections. This year
the Returning Officer is
Ann Heron, who is Head of
Quality Engagement within
Ayrshire College.
You will be able to submit
your nomination via Moodle
from 29 March. Moodle will
include full details of the
positions and instructions on
how to nominate yourself.
