Swiss Mobility
General
• Exchange within the Swiss university network (except ETH Zurich and
IHEID Geneva).
• No certificates of language proficiency are required.
• A Swiss Mobility exchange is possible from the fourth semester of the Bachelor degree (a semester on leave does not count as the first semester).
• Simultaneous application to more than one programme (partner university
exchange, Freemover, Swiss Mobility and Globalship Programme) for the
same semester and academic year is not permitted.
• Students cancelling an allocated Swiss Mobility place are not permitted to
participate in any other exchange programme.
• Students not accepted to another exchange programme may apply for the
Swiss Mobility, provided they meet the relevant application deadline.
• BIA students interested in an exchange at IHEID Geneva must apply
through “Exchange at a Partner University” and not Swiss Mobility.
• Enrolled in a HSG Bachelor degree.
• Successfully completed Assessment Year, including notification of results by
the time the exchange semester starts.
• Credits already completed as well as remaining degree credits in the HSG
Bachelor degree in which the exchange semester will take place
(Bachelor thesis excluded).
• No remaining credits from a prior level of study by the time the exchange semester begins. Exception: Admission condition “bookkeeping examination”
/ Admission condition “foreign language requirements without credits”.
• All admission conditions must be successfully completed as stated in the HSG
compensation rules for admission conditions including official notification of results by the time the exchange term begins.
