Freemover • Self-organised by the student, i.e. independent application by the student to the host university. • No violation of existing agreements with partner universities permitted; an overview of HSG partner universities is available at http://studentweb.unisg.ch – Exchange – Partner universities. • Admission criteria are determined by host institution. • Simultaneous application for the same semester for partner university exchange, Swiss Mobility, Freemover and Globalship Programme is not permitted. • Students not accepted to another exchange may apply for the Freemover programme, provided they meet the relevant HSG application deadlines. University selection • Freemover students may not select a partner university for their semester abroad if an exchange agreement with the HSG exists at the same degree level (regardless of the faculty with which the agreement exists). • Generally it is possible to transfer credits from a semester abroad at an accredited university towards the HSG degree. The accreditation status of the proposed university must be clarified by the student in advance by e-mail to the HSG Admission and Crediting Office ([email protected]) if it is not on the list of «Universities attended by former freemover students» (see http://studentweb.unisg.ch – Exchange – Before an exchange).
