I played about a hundred more games in total . We went to tournaments , showcases , and camps from Massachusetts to New York , Pennsylvania , New Jersey and Virgina . I went on to receive ten more offers throughout the summer . There were a lot of big games that got me some sort of publicity . When other players and some fathers of players saw me they knew who I was and wanted to see me play .
What started out as an extremely uncomfortable and stressful season in basketball ended up being an incredible experience . I am not the same person that I was in March . I broke out to become more confident on and off the court and developed my own basketball persona . Staying focused on my goals helped me to live through a time of question marks and uncertainty . I made the most of it by staying focused and taking the opportunities that I got . It all worked out for me as I am now committed and signed to play college basketball next year at Towson University .
If there was one thing I learned from this summer it is not about how or when you get your opportunity , it is what you do with it when you get it .

2006 to 2016 . Between these years I would say I had a decent childhood . One of the reasons for this was my grandfather . He did whatever he could for my sisters and me . He was a strong , kind-hearted soul . However , after many years , his personality slowly became dull , being affected by his health . One night he suffered a stroke . I woke up in the middle of the night and headed downstairs to find a crew of ambulances carrying him out of the house . I did not go to school that day due to the fact that it happened early in the morning , and my mom was sympathetic allowing us to stay home . I
