Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs)
› A study done by Colchester Hospital University NHS
Foundation Trust, has proven that by treating their staff at
NHS who suffers from MSDs (Musculoskeletal disorders) at
an early stage with physiotherapy, resulted in these
employees being able to either remain working (53.3 per
cent), or return to work much more quickly within eight
days, (21.7 per cent) and the remainder of employees
were able to return to work after 30 days; than if they used
another form of rehabilitation.
Falls
› When a person is at risk for recurrent falls they are
considered for being in need of “multifactorial
rehabilitation” which is a form of rehabilitation that assists
with their sense of balance and strength.
