Swedish Massage Technique
› involves a combination of techniques such as circular pressure
that is being applied by the hands and palms of the massage
therapist, as well as involving a firm kneading, with percussion-
like tapping, in a bending and stretching motion.
Lymphatic Massage
› this is also known as a “lymphatic drainage/manual lymph
drainage technique which was first developed in Germany. It
was originally intended for the treatment of “lymphedema”
which is the accumulation of fluids which collect in the lymph
nodes after surgery, (most often after a mastectomy).
Deep Tissue Massage
› involves a much deeper pressure technique which is used for
releasing tension in the muscles which is caused by chronic pain
and tension.
