SMM:What is so different about your music?
DBD: My music comes from emotion and real life situations. The kind of songs I write depend on how I'm feeling at the time and what's going on.
SMM : What is Dope Boy Bandit?
DBD : Dope Boy Bandit is a man on a mission. He is a man that gets what he wants by any means. Nobody used to believe in me when it came to music, then all of a sudden, I just got dope. I guess it was just persistence and dedication that got me where I needed to be and where I wanted to be music wise.
SMM: How did you come up with the song Maneuvering?
DBD : I actually did not come up with the concept of the song. Maneuvering is a song by IloveMakonen. I decided to do my own version of the song for The Remix Tape because it was a song that I was really feeling at the time and had been listening to a lot, so I went ahead and remixed it.
