Lochnation captivated us not only with her
voice on radio but her beauty is also a domi-
neering factor but most of all we are captured
by Lo’s brains. Zimbabwe’s creatives queen in
our opinion Lo is a force to be reckoned with.
Girlboss hell yeah she is called King even
though she is a woman.
A genuine and passionate lover and advocate
for the Arts , Lo is a Cultural Producer based in
Harare, Zimbabwe. She is currently the Com-
munity Manager of Moto Republik , Zim-
babwe’s first creative and co-working hub. She
also is the founder and co-host of The Fest Gu-
rus, a docu-reality series and platform that fol-
lows 4 young Africans around the continent as
they check off their bucket list of visiting Af-
rica’s best arts and music festivals. The plat-
form is a growing authority on African festi-
vals and works to promote inter-continental
travel among young people through platforms
that celebrate arts and culture.
Lorraine was born & raised in the sunshine
city of Harare and completed her O-Levels at
Peterhouse Girl’s School before moving to the
USA for my tertiary education. She returned
home in 2012 and completed a Masters in In-
tellectual Property at Africa University . It was
at this time she fell in love with the arts and
sector in Zimbabwe particularly the Zim Hip
Hop and Fashion scenes that were popping at
the time! She says “ I caught the bug and de-
cided to get more involved in part of its devel-
opment using my experience in development
and management.”
