Most people give away to their feelings and do things that they have to regret later. Most of the unhappiness in the world would have ended if people exercised to control their mind, exclaimed Dr. Vajpayee highlighting her journey from India to Melbourne, Australia.
There is guidance to us to lead us to the right path throughout our life if we just listen to it. The voice of the conscience within will be obvious. There is a wise saying,“ Explore, Dream and Discover.” That’ s what a successful life is really all about. It is a journey she went on to excel and disclose her experience.
THE REAL MEANING OF PASSION
When Dr. Vajpayee spoke of passion we could feel the charm, however, she didn ' t mean it in a romantic way. What she meant by passion was the powerful feeling of enthusiasm we all have inside of us.
We are all enthusiastic and passionate about something, whether it is music, writing, finance, food or a favorite sport.
That enthusiasm is very powerful. When we can combine it with our work, we are setting ourselves up well for achieving true success.
WHY PASSION IS SO IMPORTANT
When we are enthusiastic and proud of the work we do, the better equipped we ' ll be to overcome the many obstacles that will surely arise in the process of starting a business or moving up in a career. Also, the more enthusiasm we have, the more inclined we are to work harder at improving ourselves. When Dr. Vajpayee wrote her first book it did not fetch an overall response as expected, yet she moved ahead with her passion and wrote the second and now soon set to be released the third book. She followed her passion and that’ s what allowed her to continuously get better at the work. The better we get at our work, the better we can gets the rewards.
Ensuring we are passionate about our work will not only provide us with a meaningful career. The passion we have for our work can be the difference between making a living or making a killing.
THE BOTTOM LINE
True success is much more than having a lot of wealth and fame. Enjoying the work you do is, in some ways, more important than having a large bank account. You may need to think about what you ' re passionate about. It may not be easy, but chances are it will be worth the effort.
