COVER STORY
The conversation with Dr.Vajpayee was a
pleasant one with smiles and laughter
and those minutes of share connected
us even though we were miles apart.
A beauty with the perfect tinge of
humor, laughter, and intelligence, the
conversation still echoes with positivity
she led me through.
Do the difficult things while they are
easy and do the great things while they
are small. A journey of a thousand miles
must begin with a single step. - Lao Tzu
As Dr. Vajpayee was moving on with her
life and doing things that must be done,
she was faced with difficulties and
turmoils and with the time passing she
was finding that more and more people
were tuning into what she has to say
and how she was living life. The
increasing fame and influence and
supporters had given her a different
perspective on life. The stress she
explains can motivate you to action and
help you meet the challenges of
everyday life. But in this age of over
stimulus from social media, email, and
24/7 information overload, stress all too
often becomes an ever-present
companion, that's why Dr. Vajpayee
illustrated that there are many ways to
reduce stress, including exercise and
meditation but what helped her was her
writing. She throws light upon her
experience stating for many of us,
simply writing down our feelings on a
regular basis—having a private, safe
place to vent—is enough to release the
emotional pressure stress produces. She
elaborated her
journey which concluded that while
she used to be the center of her
universe before, she has made the
fundamental principles of life to be the
center of her life. She further stated
that one must change some aspects of
our lives if we are unhappy with the
circumstances or people we are
attracted to ourselves. If we want
something we never had, we must
become something that we never were
- a revolution of transformation.
Disappointments have been the
source of the greatest genius,
inventions, creations, and successes.
Disappointments force us to think,
look, listen and make radical changes
in our lives. Tragedies bring to light
the self within us that we never knew
existed. Some of the disappointments
in Dr. Vajypayee’s life had made her
realize the extent of strength she had
within her that probably she never
knew of. It’s the nature’s way of
teaching us lessons necessary for us at
the particular moment. The only
change is constant.
Disappointments and failures come to
guide us, teach us, and make us think
about things we never would
otherwise learn. All the experiences in
our life good and bad come to teach
us things that we must learn at the
moment, apply the information and
get on with what we must do. Each of
us is here to perform the work of the
creator. Finding your dreams and
reaching your destination.
