A spokesman for the club told Stone and
Eccleshall Life: “We as a society are very fortunate
to have the tutoring services of our president Doris
Brown who has been with the club since the
beginning in 1967.
“The object of the exhibition is to not only to
showcase our work but to enable us to raise funds
to cover the rising costs of hiring Oulton Village
Hall, our weekly classes and annual exhibitions.
“To maintain the clubs future it is important
that we try and enlist as many new members as
possible.”
If you have nothing else to do on a Thursday
evening please come along and enjoy the pleasant
atmosphere and give it a go, you never know you
may even enjoy the company. Please go along and
give the club your support.
