INDEPENDENT EDUCATION Wrekin College Exciting start to the new term for new headmaster rekin College in Wellington has enjoyed an exciting start to the new term and 2014 with a new headmaster at the helm. Mr Richard Chapman officially took over the role from former headmaster, Mr Richard Pleming, at the beginning of January. Mr Chapman, a father-oftwo, said he was delighted to be the new headmaster at Wrekin College adding that he was “immediately struck by the warmth of the school”. The former Deputy Head at King’s School in Worcester, since 2007, he is a keen sportsman, a lover of Cornwall W and has an interest in National Trust properties and local issues. Mr Chapman has moved to Wrekin College in Wellington with his wife, Kate, who is a primary school teacher, and his sons, William, 10, and Hugo, 7. The school will be hosting an Open Day on March 29.
