“ We asked that everyone who took part contributed something, and with the money raised, we hope to buy pens, pencils and other such materials to send to the village school.”
Teaching assistant Su Aldred, who helped to organise the Zumbathon, said the event was led by professional instructor Sarah Timms, who volunteered to come in for the day and work with different year groups to help prepare them for the whole-school dance.
“ Pupils practiced at various times throughout the day, before coming together with the teaching staff on the 3-G all-weather pitch at the end of the school day for the big event. We also invited any parents and carers who were able to join us as well, so it
