The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries established pasture and sub-catchment monitoring sites commencing in November 2017 and completed in July 2021 . Sampling was undertaken in November 2017 , June 2018 , October 2018 , June 2019 , July 2020 , November 2020 and June-July 2021 . Annual reports on the monitoring activity were provided 2018-2022 .
A reference site , Plot 10 , was established at Mt . Pleasant Station , providing a landscape in good grazing land condition , for comparison to project sites in terms of pasture yield and composition , and soil surface condition .
