1:00 pm 1.45 pm 4:00 pm Soup lunch The actual competition for the Primus’ Cup over 9 holes. Main course meal with presentation of prizes. I hope this will encourage more people to come for an enjoyable day out with colleagues from our Church. The Ecclesiastical Insurance group have generously agreed to sponsor the day again to the extent of £30 for each player – they will also provide some prizes. I hope this will cover the costs of the day but reserve the possibility of asking you perhaps to pay for the morning coffee/roll and your drinks or even perhaps making a £2 or £3 contribution to get extra prizes for the winning Texas scramble team plus nearest pin, drive nearest line etc: Still a cheap day! All this will take place at Bridgend Golf Club EH49 6NS which is near Linlithgow. Ride-on Buggies available (£15). We can arrange free pick-up and return to Linlithgow station for any who wish. Any questions welcome. Please circulate this to any in your area who might be interested. I really hope we get more playing than in recent years or I fear this annual event may have to end. Let me know if you hope to play on the 13th May Jim Mein. 01506 834317 [email protected] Only God could lead man to think up a game like golf. No other sporting pursuit takes a player through the varied vistas of nature like golf does. God made those vast expanses in which the game is played over, so surely he must have had a hand in designing golf . If you are like me, a believer in God and a lover of golf, you also believe that God has a plan. Some days you win, some days you lose, but every day, in golf as in life, you must keep moving towards a place where you can hit the next shot from. Billy Graham Evangelist & Golfer 11
