The Rt. Rev. Duke T. Akamisoko, Bishop Diocese of Kubwa attended the following schools: between 1974 to 1990 Sabon Gari primary school kaduna, teacher college Dutsen-ma, Katsina, Bishop Crowther College of Theology, Okene, university of Nsukka and Theological college of Northern Nigeria Bukuru/University of jos. Currently a PhD student at University of Jos, Plateau state. His Education from Primary to Tertiary level spanned a period of 20 years with the following qualification, FSLC, Teacher Grade II, NCE, Dip Th. BA Religion/Education and M.Th. Church History, he was ordained Deacon in June 1991 and Priested in December 1991. He was Preferred Canon in August 1997 and Archdeacon in October 2001. He was teacher/Chaplain of Crowther Memorial College Lokoja from 1989 – 1996, Vicar of St Barnabas Church, Ecewu, Kogi state (1991 – 1992), and vicar , Memorial Church, Lokoja (1992 – 1997). He worked with government from 1989 – 1996 but resigned to join full time Gospel Ministry in 1996 and was released to diocese of Kebbi in 1997, Synod secretary, Diocese of Lokoja 1994 – 1998. He served as Canon Residentiary of St. Luke’s Cathedral Church, Birnin Kebbi State (1997 – 2001) and archdeacon of the same Cathedral from 2011 to September 2012. Duke served as Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kebbi branch from 1992 – 2002. Again in 2002 He was released from diocese of kebbi to Church of Nigeria Headquarter Abuja as Director of Ecumenism and inter-Faith Dialogue, a position he occupied until he was Elected Bishop of Zonkwa Missionary Diocese, January 2005. Rt. Rev. Duke T. Akamisoko is married to Sarah Akamisoko and their marriage is blessed with 3 children, two boys and one girl 12
